How do I update document schema?

Hello Everyone,

I modified a document service 'CustCustomerService' in AX to include fields from 'ShipCarrierAddress' table. Our partner can get values in those fields successfully from AX. but when they try to update some record in AX using this service they get error:

Invalid document schema. The following error was returned:  The element 'ShipCarrierAddress' in namespace 'schemas.microsoft.com/.../Customer' has invalid child element 'DlvModeId' in namespace 'schemas.microsoft.com/.../Customer'. List of possible elements expected: 'CustAccount' in namespace 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/dynamics/2008/01/documents/Customer'.

Any thoughts how to resolve this issue? Do I need to manually edit schema and if so then how do I do it?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Samy123,

You don't need manually to edit the schema. Based on the error, the first element expected in the element ShipCarrierAddress is CustAccount, but it's for some reason DlvModeId. Are you missing CustAccount in your inbound message?
