Hello experts,

I'm exporting data from NAV 2009 using Data migration, in excel format.

See the bellow screenshot

After successfully exported, I'm going to Import in NAV 2016 using Config. Package Card,

See the bellow screenshot

But i'm getting error, why because, in NAV 2016 XML Schema has been changed, and added one more element PackageCard.

How could i import data from excel in NAV 2016 using Config Package Card.

    Hi Binesh,

Why don't you first export the Template from NAV 2016 (using CP) and fill the data you have from NAV 2009 and import again into 2016. Its worked for me.

Hope it works for you as well.

Try to export the data from 2016 first to get the excel file and then copy over the data from your 2009 excel file to the new NAV 2016 Excel and use that for import.

Thank you Rabindra & Suresh for your response.

Data transferring is not a problem, we have many alternate solution like

SQL Server DB->Tasks->Export Data... here our BLOB field also transferred.

actually i need a generic solution. so we can copy/transfer multiple tables data at a time.

for that i made changes in bellow objects.

    -----Upgrade need in NAV 2009-----

XMLPort 8610  Setup Data Schema in this i added the PackageCode like NAV 2016.

and added "Package Code" field in Migration Table[8614], Migration Table Field[8616].

Codeunit Migration Management[8611] in that we have to update the functions

       ExportSetupDataToExcel

       ExportSetupDataXML
