Hi all,

I have a case. i created the sales order in Dynamics 365 and i invoiced it.

After that i go to the POS to pay the sales invoice and it works.

When Dynamics 365 i try to calculate statement and try to post statement i got the error in error log box

"While processing the state Customer order created, generic exception encountered in retail statement XXXXXXXXX in the controller : The sales order creation failed for the statement XXXXXXXXX and the transactions: XXXXXXXXX."

and also show the error message when posting :

"The sales order creation failed for the statement XXXXXXXXX and the transactions: XXXXXXXXX."

Actually i'm referring to this article

https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/axsupport/2014/11/12/ax-for-retail-2012-r3-customer-would-like-to-pay-for-sales-orders-in-retail-pos-that-were-created-in-dynamics-ax/

But found problem when post statement.

Anyone know how to solve ?

Thanks

Hi here is the error. Sorry i have to masked the number.

Firstly I create the sales order in D365 back end. It is normal sales order after that i invoiced it.

I want to pay the sales invoice in POS. By recall this sales order by using sales invoice function and pay by cash. It works.

After that i p-job, calculate statement and post statement. It is stuck in post statement and throw the error.

Actually i was referring this article and it works before in ax 2012

Please help me how to solve.

    Hi Rudy,

Unfortunately, I haven't seen this issue before. I was wondering if the screenshot would add some more hints, but that is not the case. You can try to use a debugger to find the culprit or look at LCS issue search for a possible known issue.
