How to run create new sales order form

How can I manage to open the "create sales order" form?

When I use the "SalesTableListPage", I get an overview of all sales orders, and when i uset the "SalesTableForNew", AX opens the most recent created sales order.

What I want, is to open the form you get when you physically push the button "New Sales order" in AX.

Anyone knows what caller to use to get this to work?

I think we misunderstand each other a bit.

I have the following fields to enter information inside, to generate the needed "code" to open the "create sales order" form when I push the button illustrated in the picture (the fields defines the buttons behaviour):

Any suggestions? I know that the "Menu item name" and "Menu item type" field is correct.

In order to define 'Open Mode', you don't need any 'Field'

it is specified in properties of MenuItemButton

In your first scenario, I have put MenuItem to "SalesTableForNew", and for Menu item type I have set "Display".

I have no field to define the "Open mode".

Any other values I can put in the fields from the list in my previous post that can managet the same function?

    • Create a new MenuItemButton
    • go to its properties and specify the MenuItem as SalesTableForNew (Display Type)
    • set open mode as New

    Or

    • open SalesTableListPage
    • Copy button which is responsible to create new sales order and paste it in any other form or anywhere needed.

    Hi Sohaib.

I'm sorry for being a little unclear.

I want to open the SalesCreateOrder (PopUp) form from a custom button.

I tried to put "SalesTableForNew" in the "Menu item name" field to open the "SalesCreateOrder" form, but this only opens the lastly created sales order.

I have a module (not standard AX) where I am able to define the following fields:

    1. Menu item name

    2. Form

    3. Control

    4. Control name

    5. Value

Based on this, I should be able to define how to open the SalesCreateOrder form.

    Was this understandable?

your question is bit ambiguous, can you, please, restate it

which form you want to open SalesTable or SalesCreateOrder (PopUp).

also you want to open it by code or how for a normal user just on any click?
