My customer is currently on GP 18.3.1200 and SQL 2019 RTM - They want to load SQL 2019 CU24 - Does anyone know of any issues with that?  If they cannot go to 24 what would be the highest they can go to?

Compare the release date of your GP and SQL versions.

For example, GP 18.3.1200 released on 11/19/2020 so you would look to see the release date of SQL that are before that date.

SQL Releases (with release date) are here:  Latest updates and version history for SQL Server - SQL Server | Microsoft Learn

[I follow the same process related to operating system and Office products as well.

Of course, if there is an issue that is resolved with upgrading on a different schedule, that has to be taken into consideration.  And, as always, testing and having a rollback plan are critical.
