An end-user created a transfer journal however when we check the transfer journal the journal cannot be found. We assume the journal was deleted. How can we trace or recover the deleted transfer journal.

    Hi Adulrahman Tony

if you activate database log, you will trace any changes for this record based on fields triggered.

you will know who created, and previous value, for this record...etc

Andre has stated the answer directly above your post, the database log needs to have been configured.

    Hi Michel,

If the table for inventory journals was enabled in the Database log, it was possible to see who did it; otherwise not. Note that enabling database log will have a small performance penalty.

But can we know the user who deleted a journal?

You can trace it in the inventory transactions if it was deleted, the deletion should only be possible if it was not transacted upon or the transaction was complete. AX allows you to delete journals like this. There is no way to recover it, it is allowed to be deleted and all data is held at the transaction level.
