"Add another attendee" with marketing form event registrations

Hello,

I'm have created events for our courses, and those who find our courses are usually company leaders who wish to register their employees.

I use marketing forms for registration in the default event portal as it makes it easier to hide certain fields conditionally with javascript.

The idea is to only ask for required personal information and which company they work for. However, if they tick the option saying they're a leader / contact person, it'll reveal hidden fields that asks for necessary information about their company.

The problem is that the option to "Add another attendee" disappears, which is essential if a leader is to register several people at once.

Is there a way to register several contacts at the same time in a marketing form? Similar to how it works by default in the event portal.

Perhaps there's a better solution for someone to register several people at once for an event I haven't thought of?

Thanks, Robin.

Alright, I was afraid this was the case.

Seems that I'll have to edit the event registration page.

    Thanks for the answer!

    Cheers, Robin

    Hi Robin Lislerud,

I tried a lot of methods. As the Microsoft document says: Forms are limited to free (non-recurrent) events and allow registration of one person at a time (instead of multiple people together).

In addition, if you want to use marketing form in an event you must set “form type” to “Event registration”, and then, the “firstname” and the “lastname” fields will become required even if you hide or delete them.

We cannot change the data mapping of the form by changing the HTML.

So I suggest you change your event registration: How to edit an event registration page - Dynamics 365 Marketing Forum Community Forum
