changing language of custom fields/ entities

Hey Guys,

I have installed the Arabic language pack on my CRM, and managed to change the display language, but I was surprised to see that the custom fields entities and areas didn't change !!!!!!
all the system changed from english to arabic, but custom areas, entities, and field stayed in english.

Is there a way to change the language of anything that is custom created.

    Hi

For your custom entities, you have to manually give label value for all the field. Please refer below URL.

By default CRM will translate the OOB entities and fields and not the custom entities. If you want to translate custom entities. You can follow the link as mention by Alagu for translation.

    Thanks!

Thank you very much. This solved it.

However, it requires a lot of work to translate all those fields :( I really hope Microsoft can suggest anything that would make this easier in the future.

Hi Prashant, you can definitely change the display name of ootb fields in CRM.

it might not have been properly published. Only some fields you will see the display name is greyed out. Also remove the field from the form and add again.

    Hi Prashant,

Please export translations and try to change corresponding labels and import back. It should work.
