Attempting to create a TEST environment by cloning the Production VM, everything appears to go smooth but I'm unable to login to the SA account. I've run the Capture_Logins.sql script as well as tried resetting the SA password from within SQL Security. Still getting the following error when launching GP utilities however I am able to use SA login for SQL authentication
Go into SSMS and Security->Logins and 'sa' and right-click properties. Make sure the 'sa' login is not disabled.
It is/was enabled
Are you on the server trying to login? If not, make sure this is not a firewall issue. The default port for SQL is 1433.
I am directly on the database server
So you can log into SSMS as 'sa' but not GP? I would check the ODBC connection using the 32 bit ODBC Administrator. Perhaps even create a new one.
