Description:

We want to use a main account + dimension set to record costs through general journals and to post budget register entries with the same main account + dimension in D365 Finance & Operations. This will allow us to compare actual vs. budgeted amounts on a dimension-wise basis. However, we want to ensure that the dimension is only visible to specified users. We aim to hide/restrict the dimension on posted transactions in the general ledger, budget register entries, and all other relevant reports and pages, including Trial Balance, Actual vs. Budget, Voucher Transactions, Budget Register Entries, General Journals, and any other areas where the dimension can be seen.

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations consultant to customize our system to meet the following requirements:

Dimension Visibility Control:

Restrict visibility of the specified dimension to certain users only.
Ensure the dimension is hidden/restricted on posted transactions in the general ledger, budget register entries, and all other relevant reports and pages, including:
Trial Balance
Actual vs Budget
Voucher Transactions
Budget Register Entries
General Journals
Any other reports or pages where the dimension can be seen
