In Demo Data in USMF company from Where Bank Name details comes while changing the Customer Account in Payment Journal

While creating Customer Payment Journal,we select a Customer,Bank name also comes in Offset,from where does it comes.

I am trying to create Payment Journal Lines from x++ in D365 F&O.

Hi Sanjay kumar singh,

You can try using "updateCustVendBankAccount" method in LedgerJournalTrans table. This is the same method being called in modifiedField method when account number is being modified.

HI,

You can navigate to General ledger>>Journal set up>>Journal names_ Select Customer payment journal- in the account type- there would be Bank and if you remove that, you dont get the default on journal.

Its already blank.

Is that Bank is linked with Customer Default Payment Method? Its check for some of them, at customer master.

and Check method of payment is having Bank name set there.

Hi Sanjay,

You are correct. The method of payment for this customer is set to "Check" and the Payment account is set to the bank account which is getting defaulted here.

You can check method "paymModeModified" in LedgerJournalTrans table to check how the offset account is being set and can se the same method in your code.

Its Populating in paymModeModified method.but before that its setting PaymMode.

It is setting PaymMode in LedgerJournalEngine\initFromCustTable.

Wouldn't be easier to use a ready payment service that has all of this integrated in itself? It is cool that you are trying to make something, and if you can do that, it's awesome. For people like me, who have no idea how to do this on their own, it's better to use stuff that is already out there. The payment service I am using has a gateway worldwide system, and my customers are from around the world. It is great when the thing you are using helps your business grow and makes it easy for you. A lot of people still use PayPal for stuff like this, but there are better options, you just need to do your research better.
