Unit Cost unit of measure different from Last Direct Cost

I have a few items where our Base Unit of Measure is EACH. This means all of the costs we enter are also in EACH. Our Purchase and Sales Units of Measure are in CASE but we have the proper conversions in the Item Units of Measure table.. For the items I am working with.. The Unit Cost is being calculated properly but is shown in CASE as opposed to EACH. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the Unit Cost is always in the Base UOM. I am wondering if anyone has run into this problem before and if so, what was your solution to fix it. We have many other items set up the same way but the Unit Cost is shown in the Base UOM. When I click on the Unit Cost, it shows in the Base Unit of Measure..

    Hello,
     
    Many things can affect the Unit Cost unit of measure is different from the Last Direct Cost besides the Unit of measure. 
     
    Did you check your setup of costing methods, analyze item ledger entries and value entries of affected items, is cost adjusted, did you post item charges, and check the item's Average Cost Calculation Overview (it is the powerful page when you need to check changes on your item costs)?
     
    It is not unusual that your unit cost and last direct cost are different and if you provide us with more information I would be glad to help.
