SalesInvoice SSRS Report - Page Footer

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

Hi,

I've added a page footer to the SalesInvoice SSRS report in Visual Studio.  Within this footer are some text boxes that get data from tables relating to the report.  The Page Footer is set to only show on the first page.

When the report is generated and rendered as, say, PDF, it shows that there are 2 pages when there should only be one, the 2nd page only showing the Page header, no body data.  This only appears to happen when the Page Footer is activated.

Anyone point me in the correct direction of where this could be going wrong?

Many thanks.

You need to adjust report body size so that no bank line spill over next page.

Footer is having behaviour it will print report is extended to next page

Please verify and update us with your findings

I've made the body size fit within the size of the page.  Page is 11.69in body size is 10.5in, however, if i get rid of any white space and put the footer to the end of the body, my footer does not display.  Foot only shows if there is white space between the end of the body and the start of the page footer.

    Hi check below equation.

    body width+left margin+right margin = page width

    body height+page header height+page footer height+top margin+bottom margin = page height.

You can check your page's margin from report properties.

Yeah Raj is right, please adjust the body or margins of the report.

The width/ height of the report body + margins = Page size.

Otherwise it will spill over while saved as files.

Adjust the size of page, you have to change the print option to screen instead of printer and retry.

I've checked by height, taking in to account the Header height, body height and footer height, all fit in to the 11.69in required. However, the footer still does not show on the report, either when it's in the report viewer or when printing/exporting.  It does however show if exporting the document to WORD format.

Any clues or ideas would be very much appreciated.

    Regards
