What is the "correct" way to integrate Dataverse to existing Azure Data Lake?

Hi all,

We're helping a client with Dynamics 365 Sales and some custom solutions on Dataverse.

They already have a big Azure Data Lake solution in place, where they do a lot of analysis and create reports, with data from other systems.

Now they have asked us to export account and activity data from D365 Sales to their Data Lake, and I am of course considering the "Export to Data Lake"-feature that I immediately found in Dataverse.

But is this the "correct" way in our setup?
My customer is not happy granting us an "owner role on the storage account" as specified in the prerequisites...
We could then of course setup a dedicated storage account for Dataverse data, but that would mean we'll have to store all data twice, right?
(first in our new storage account and then ingest it into their existing solution, where it will be stored once more).

Your opinions please! What is the right way of setting this up...?

Thanks!
