Item attributes in Business Central

Hello,

There seems to be no way to 'Edit in Excel' the table containing item attributes.

I have been able to use the 'Edit in Excel' function to mass upload attribute values, but now I can't mass apply values to items.

With 2,500+ items to do, this makes this feature unusable for historical data.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Many thanks,

Julien

    Hi

Yes rapid start wasn't available in Finance and ops.

I've just realised it's now available in Business Central! :)

    Thanks,
    Julien

Can you please elaborate as to how you tie the attribute/values to the item number using config pkg?  I am having troubles doing so.

    Hello,

You need to use the 'Item Attribute Value Mapping' table. (table 7505).

You probably will want to export tables 7500 and 7501 also so that you can get the code for the item attribute and the item attribute, to use in the value mapping table.

    I hope that helps!
