    Hi Crispin && Ravi,

    Thanks for your reply. Let assume that my XPO file contains 100 classes,50 forms and etc. In that scenario, How can I know XPO file is successfully import or not?

    For your given idea, I need to check one by one using the compare tool.

    Is there any other way to check programmatically?

    When an xpo is imported, the system compiles all object and output is shown on a form which shows if there are any errors are not. BUT that is not prove if your destination system is perfect. The destination system already may have customization in a class and code merge may have accepted your overwriting acceptance to replace existing code with new incoming code.

    Honestly speaking there may not be any perfect way but a very close I can see as following.

    1. Make sure the xpo that is being imported, is an x++ project actually. So instead of importing xpo import project (let’s say you imported ProjectABC which you took from SystemA)

    2. Import it on destination machine. (say your destination is SystemB)

    3. Export back the project from destination machine (export same project from SystemB)

    4. Compare two projects with the one you exported from SystemB, using text comparison tools such as WinMerge.

      These are the reasons people were pushing whole customization using application folder in AXAPTA. If version control system is not in place, there are issues. For small xpo(s) having few elements only, comparison is practical.
