I have uploaded table 83 successfully (Negative Item Journal), and now I want to zero out the item tracking lines. When I successfully load table 337 though, the item tracking lines are in a negative format and don’t zero out.
When I have exported table 337 after entering the first Item Tracking in my Journal, I enter all details in table 337 as this first line (negative values).
Not sure if I have done table 83 incorrectly, or table 337 incorrectly, or simply missed a step.
OK The Item Journal (Table 83) already contains columns for Serial and Lot numbers. You could just populate those columns. Now, It's table 338 ( Entry Summary) that is called when applying the Item Tracking details manually. YOu can go that route, but you need to upload table 83 first to generate Entry Numbers, then use those numbers in your table 338 upload.
Does that make sense to you? Since this is your initial load, you could make your own Entry Numbers so they stand-out. Just make sure the No. Series can accommodate manual numbers.
