Exporting to Excel Sales Order Report with Line items included

Hi All,

I have a problem exporting my sales order which I wanted to be able to export the sales order to Excel with line items included in it. So that I would be able to know how many pcs of each item that I need to Purchase to my vendor in order to complete my sales order. I couldn't find a way to do them but I believe it is possible to be done someway somehow because in my logic, when we open each item card, they are showing "Qty on Sales Order" but I would not want to open each of the item card one by one because I got over 1000 uniques items to be sold. Maybe you guys can help me find the way out? Thanks!

Alright I got it. So here is my reference

    www.olofsimren.com/add-order-lines-to-navigation-pane

What I did was open the "Qty on Sales Order" on Item card, There's gonna be a Sales Line window coming up; Tweaking a little filter to match the criteria on what I wanted to then walaa. Got it! Just export them to Excel and its all good!

Thanks to Olof Simren! :) Cheers!

    Hi, thanks for replying.

I needed them to be able to export to Excel because these sales order were past orders and what I am going to do here is to make purchase orders for each week. We were still in the period of wanting to go live ASAP. On the other hand, 1 product items can be sold by many vendors and we do compare prices one and another which I think generating purchase order automatically doesnt apply to our company.

*We are using warehouse system thats why when we wanted to do a warehouse pick it always giving me the error of nothing to handle and my understanding of nothing to handle error, one of them would be insufficient of item in the inventory

Before proceeding with advices, my first question would be: why are you exporting them to Excel? If you want to know how much items do you need to purchase, I advice you to run MRP functionality and generate Purchase Orders for needed suppliers automatically - this is what the system is mean for.
