How can I combine multiples AA dimensions in AA Analysis Cube (Dynamics GP)?
I need to filter for one AA dimension code associated to one dimension and show detailed values for dimensions codes in other dimension.
I am working in a report that uses two AA dimensions one of them is cost center and the other is the location, (i.e. Payroll cost in Cost Center:IT Department, Location: Headquarters). The report must show in its rows a combination of Account Categories and Cost Centers using the Location as a parameter, you can select one location code, location codes that begins with "x" or the summary of all location codes.
I thought that AA Analysis Cube would be a good start point for the report, but I discovered that in the AA Cube there is only one cube dimension called "AA Transaction Dimensions" containing all the AA Dimensions, then, when I filter a Location, all categories of that dimension shows information refered to Location and I can't see the Cost Centers values.
I understand that each AA Dimension is represented in the AA Cube like a different hierarchy in the "AA Transaction Dimensions" dimension, then, can I do restrictions on one hierarchy and shows values associated to the other hierarchy?
