Different text to be added to a finished product depending on which market (country) it is sold to

Hello,

One of our customers requires a patent text to follow the documentation of certain finished products for certain markets. When exporting to certain countries this text will follow, for others it will not. How are you able to make this as smoothly as possible in Dynamics 365?

    Hi Ivan,

    Can you elaborate? I can understand you need a text, but where exactly? On an order confirmation or sales invoice? Please provide more details.

    This will be on Sales Invoice and OC.

    So there are basically two criteria: The product needs to be linked to the patent, and the product needs to be sold to a customer from a specific country. I am not sure if it is possible to implement something like this using only standard 365.

    I am also looking into the possibility to use a supplementary service item to use for this text. It might not be optimal (especially due to the fact that the text will then look like a line item on the OC and Invoice), but atleast that is a fix.

    Hello LarsenAdvania.

    As far as I understood the request is to have different article descriptions for one article of a specific customer based on the country of the delivery address correct? In standard D365 there is not functionality like this.

    If you have different languages for the countries you can used the article description per language. But of course this is just a workaround.
