Allocations for Total Amount in Main Account Not Each Transaction

Is there a way for the allocation process to pull from the sum of the transactions instead of at a transaction level? I have a client that would like to reduce the number of transactions that are occurring, and then transferring at the end of the year. Is this possible?

    Hello Mary Myers,

    Ledger Allocations cannot be based on total accounts.

    There is thus no 'standard way' how to achieve this without customization.

    Yet, I would recommend not doing that because this would affect the accounting engine.

    What you can do though is creating a new idea on the ideas portal and ask MS to make such a modification.
