Classes used for posting the Project Packing Slip through ItemRequirement form

Hi,

I am looking for classes used to post the packing slip from Item Requirement form. I used debugger and found some classes used :-

1. SalesFormLetter_PackingSlipProject

2. SalesFormLetter_PackingSlip

3. SalesFormLetter

4. FormLetterService

 Actually, my intention is to find how AX creates Ledger transaction when it post Project packing slip. I need to do some Modification, so please let me know what classes involved for creating Ledger transactions for Project Packing slip through Item Requirement form.

    Sorry Sukrut, I was on vacation so i couldn't tested it.

    Now i tested it. I put the debugger in LedgerVocuherTransObject class (on InitFromLedgerPostingTranasaction() method) and try to post the Packing slip for ItemRequirement. But it didn't go there. Please suggest.

    thanks Sukrut, I put breakpoint on same line that you highlighted but debugger doesn't hit there. Did you work on your environment??

    BTW, I am not seeing any insert() method overridden on GeneralJournalAccountEntry table in my Environment(AX 2012 R2 CU8) and also tried to put the breakpoint in findOrCreateLedgerVoucherObject() method of FormLeterJournalPost class but didn't hit debugger there. please suugest.

    Hi,

    Please override the insert method on table GeneralJournalAccountEntry and also unmark the checkbox Execute business process in CIL on options window(if not). Place breakpoint in the method transferLines of class LedgerPostingGeneralJournalController and execute the process.

    Ohh! Thats the reason my debugger is not hitting any breakpoint suggested by Sukrut because i have checked "Exceute Bussiness logic in CIL" now I unchecked this option(thanks Chaitanya pointing to that side). Now its Working .

    In addition to above, Chaitanya can you please tell me what exactly does "LedgerPostingGeneralJournalController " Class.

    Hi,

    LedgerPostingGeneralJournalController class helps in managing data(at the time of transfer to general journal) in Ledgerposting tables like
    GeneralJournalEntry, GeneralJournalAccountEntry, LedgerEntry and TaxTransGeneralJournalAccountEntry.
