Open XML SDK 2.0 and other versions of the tool

One of the prerequisite to install the Dymamics 2012 R3 Client is to install the Open XML SDK 2.0.

With the next version of Windows 10 (planned for year end 2019) this tool is not compatible anymore. Is it a new version of the client available that would work with more recent version of the SDK (2.5 to 2.9)?
