hello i created a company in EUR but now need to change to USD there is no activity in this company what is the best way to change the currency for this company?

What exactly do you mean with "no activity"? Are there no transactions at all or is the company currently not in use, but has transactions?
If there are no transactions, the Accounting currency field might be still editable. Otherwise, follow the link provided in the answer from Ludwig.
If you do not have any transaction in your GL(You can check in in GL/audit trail), you can change currency simply other wise currency exchange rate is a good idea for it.
