Hi all,
I've been doing an online course in Power BI and have currently built some basic dashboards off csv and excel based data. If I was to connect to Navision 2018 would I need further IT knowledge to create future dashboards.
As in would I need to know SQL or any other language to create new tables?
I've tried searching online, but my concern is that after set up, are the Navision tables pre made? And therefore all I will need to do link ti them? If so, where could I get a list of the default tables?
Kind regards,
Dan
Best suggestion here is to orchestrate your Power BI knowledge with a Dynamics NAV / BC expert and work together to achieve the integration you need. Otherwise, you could find out some external 3rd party basic / advanced course with Dynamics NAV / BC that would help you make your expertise also with this ERP. One suggestion could be plataan (but this depends on where you are located in the world) https://plataan.tv/en
