Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to embed a canvas app onto a UI Contact form.
The aim is, to start establishing what dialogs I'll need to replace with Power Apps, which is a direction we want to go.
I've tried embedding my existing apps, but run into issues with excessive white space.
I've tried using the classic form editor, adding a text field, changing the control to be a Canvas App, but this leads to really weird issues.
Basically, the scaling is totally off. I've tried all manner of toggles in the display settings (Scale To Fit, Lock Ratio etc), but it just doesnt seem to work. Also, when I've created a new app via the controls tab in the classic interface, the sizes are the wrong way around (i.e. if I set Height to 1000, Width to 250, it's actually making it landscape, as opposed to Portrait).
Is there something I'm missing? I just want to add an app to the form, but it's really not performing as expected. What I'm currently seeing is either the app is much too large for the screen, but I can see it all, or the app is the right size, but there's a lot of whitespace, like triple the size of the canvas.
In the old world, this is there I would have set the formatting on an iFrame to x rows high to lock in the ratio, but obviously I dont have that option now in UI.
So this shows the sizes are the wrong way around, you can just about see the canvas in the back ground. So you can see it's tall and narrow, rather than short and wide.
This screenshot shows what happens when I make it 600 x 600. As you can see, it's square (As it should be).
When it's in the UI though, it's being stretched.
Hi,
Can you please share some screenshot of UI issue?
Thank You.
