Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi Experts,

I am new in AX retail, i am using AX 2012 R3 CU8

i am facing issue, When i run JOB '9999' from Channel database, data is sync in Store ( Data is reflecting in the store).

but when i run P-Job, data is not sync in HQ.

I checked in Event log. In Event Log it shown me Error " Invalid username or Password".

I reset the password in channel database as well in store ( In AsyncClientConfigurationUtility ).

In Store Async Server connection is proper ( I checked by click on TEST connection button).

but still its not working.

Hope to hear from you soon!

thanks and regards,

Amol

    Hi Amol,

Have you imported RTS & Async certificates in your store machine?

If no then import all the certificates in trusted root directory.

    Also restart async client service.

One thing more, check upload session in async db and delete all the logs and re-run P-job.

    Regards,

    Hassan

I would check and verify that your cert files are installed on your servers, they haven't expired and installed with the correct thumbprint. I had an issue were I needed to add them to both the personal folder and the trusted root auth folders in order for it to auth correctly.

    Hi Amol,

I have seen something like this before. Try Restarting the SQL Service where the Channel DB is installed. This should trigger the .rpf file to be created. However Any new transactions again are not seen by the Async client.  It's almost as if the transactions aren't submitted until the restart of SQL.

Upload session wont be created as there is no .rpf file to pick up from the working directory. Have you checked the Max replication counter in the crt.tablereplicationlog is not higher than the replication counter of your last transaction? I tried truncating the tablereplicationlog table which should sync everything back to HQ, however it synced everything to where it got stuck last time.

    Regards,

    Steve

    Hi Mahmoud,

as per you reply. I did set user ID and Password in channel Database

as well as change in AsyncClientConfigurationUtility.  ( same USER ID and PASSWORD).

After that i run Sync Meta Data from Retail Scheduler Parameter.

then I run P JOB but still got the same error.

As i mention above, Upload session is not created for that store only.

    regards,

    Amol

    HI Steven,

In working Upload folder .rpf file is not created.

upload session is not created for that store. for rest of store upload session is created and applied.

In HQ there is 15 store out of that 14 is working fine. problem with only this store.

    regards,

    Amol

Set both user Id and password at Retail->Setup->Retail Scheduler -> Channel Integrations ->Channel Database

After that run Sync Meta data from Retail -> Parameters -> Retail Scheduler Parameters

    Hi Amol,

are there any Packets (.rpf) files in the working upload folder directory that haven't yet been applied to HQ? Have you tried setting the trace to "All" in the Asyc client configuration file? Have any Upload sessions been created?

    Regards,

    Steve
