Following the standard procedures used previously when upgraded from GP2013 to GP2016 to upgrade from GP 16.00.0901 to 18.4.1361:
- SQL checks of tables and cleanup if needed | Install GP2018 to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2018
- Pre-upgrade check as recommended for incorrect account framework and invalid records in PO table with no issues found in companies
- Ran GP Utilities 2018 and successfully upgraded all companies
- Launch 2018 Dynutils | Update modified forms and reports
- Opened Dynamics.set from GP2016 folder
- Select FieldService product
- Provide path to original FieldService Dictionary location | C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2016\SRVCADV.DIC | Update | Report Upgrade Progress Complete | No Errors | Close
- Product was updated with errors | Update1841361_FieldService.log file:
