D365 Portal subgrids showing all records instead of related records in 9.0.8.5

Hi all,

D365 Portal showing all records instead of related records in 9.0.8.5

  • Form Lookup field did not support same entity N:N relationship in Related Records Filtering

Hope this is because of this.

Can you please let me know how to resolve this issue.
Ex: Opportunity related Quote records (Quote is subgrid in opportunity)
result = 5 records

Now, In Quote all Quotes are displaying instead of showing only quotes related to Opportunity
result = 12250 records

where 5 is correct one.

    Hi Santosh,

    This certainly looks like a bug. I have seen this for my of my client. I don't think there is any workaround as yet. I would suggest you to open a support request with Microsoft.

    Hope this helps.

    And, we have same issue on 1-N related record. Not only N-N. On CRM the grid show only related records, on Portal show ALL records. We also tryed to re-do entiere form, Reset the portal, modify the grid. No success. ROLLBACK THE UPDATE.

    I managed to figure out the cause. In my case the entity permission for the child entity was set to global. Changing it to parent workd for us. This is just a workaround and we are still waiting for MS to confirm.

    For Quote I have entity list (Display all quotes - Global permissions for different users)
    and in opportunity form I have a subgrid for Quote (to display opportunity related quotes - parent permission)

    Hope here, we can't change Global permissions...

    Finally we have got the confirmation from Microsoft that this is a known bug and they can rollback the portal update on request.

    Hope this helps.
