Dear

I would like to total of item quantity from sale invoice line I can done it though total field assign quantity in from sales line table but the problem is that while we are using the type g/l account at the place of item and filled its quantity it also add in grand total. which I don't want please provide the solution for it .I have no specified range for items also

how I can perform it .

which type of filter I used what is the code for it . variable constant etc.

If you are beginner, you cannot do it alone, because you must know about coding. You have to ask it from your implementation partner.

yes I want to do it in sales invoice report .

I am a beginner so I am not much aware about where to write down code for it and what is code for it .

I just use to drag & drop in reports .so kindly tell me the way or method to get resolve such issues

I mean that you want that for the Sales Invoice, right? The only way for doing that thing is modifying the report, filtering the line types, and so on.
