Hi,

I am trying to do a data package import in D365FO where I need a particular field to be automatically mapped for an entity. I tried to add the details in the manifest xml in the below format but it is not mapping automatically. Please let me if there are any suggestions.

<EntityMap>
<ArrayIndex>0</ArrayIndex>
<EntityField>TestField</EntityField>
<EntityFieldConversionList i:nil="true" />
<IsAutoDefault>false</IsAutoDefault>
<IsAutoGenerated>false</IsAutoGenerated>
<IsDefaultValueEqualNull>false</IsDefaultValueEqualNull>
<UseTextQualifier>false</UseTextQualifier>
<XMLField>TESTFIELD</XMLField>
</EntityMap>

Thanks!

    Hi Suren,

    To be able to have the correct mapping, you can first export the package. You can then use that manifest file or verify if this is exactly the same as how you altered the manifest file.

    Adding details to file manually is fine , you have to make sure field name exactly matches in your manifest  when you are doing it manually  otherwise follow a method suggested by Andre of exporting a package and use manifest from it.
