Enable Restricted File types

Hi Team,

I want to download an file from the business central SAAS, i have written the code and its successfully working for all the file types except .sct. I found in older version of nav 2018 that file is under /Prohibited File Types/. Eventhough its prohibited there is an option to enable access for those file types in NAV 2018 in administration tools. But in BC cloud i am not able to download such files, kindly suggest an alternative way to download .sct files or how i can enable those features.

Hi, this can still be modified in the On-Pre version, but not the SaaS version. . .

I'm not sure if this solves your problem, would it be possible to download by adding the files to the zip file before downloading?

there are not many alternatives other than using a compressed archive rar 7zip zip etc

Hi,

To change this, you will have to contact Microsoft.

If they think that these file types are valid, they will update the service tier.

Otherwise, you can zip file and extract file via AL Code and then use the file.
