I'm trying to find a way to do the following..
1. Opportunity converted to Work Order with products set to become customer assets
2. If the quantity is more than 2 then multiple assets aren't created, so I'm currently trying to split the products to allow Dynamics to create the assets correctly and match the quantity on the opportunity
3. Technicians to fill in fields of them customer assets during the same work order with key information that is completed during an installation.
I'm struggling mainly with step 3, as the customer assets are only created once the work order products are set to used and the work order is completed. How are technicians supposed to complete the asset information, such as the location/height and other key information that is noted during the installation of the assets which is done on the initial work order?
I wish the assets would be automatically converted and added to the work order without having to be set as used etc.
