Hi,
I need to change the duration of a week in AX 2012, so that timesheets don't show error messages when more hours are input.
I see "Maximum working time" in HR module > Project setup.
Do I need to change the setup for each employee, or is there a global way to do that ?
Also, is there another setup to change anywhere else in AX?

Have you tried the option of using working time template which is assigned to calendar?
If not you can try to create a working time template from Organization administration> Common> Calendars> Working time template. Here you can configure a working time template.
After that you can link your template to the Calendar from Organization administration> Common> Calendars> Calendars>Working timings> Compose working times> Working time template. In this field link the template that was defined.
And when you assign the calendar in HR module> Project setup> Max hours calendar; system will adopt the working hours and this saves you from defining the working hours per employee.

Can you specify what you mean by changing the duration of a week?
Do you want to have Saturday/Sunday as a working day or do you try to achieve something else?
Is this related to project related transactions (timesheet postings) only or do you want to achieve something else with that change?
Would be great if you could elaborate.
