Lookup Up Record screen

Posted on by 10

When in a Client Call we type in a number in the Facility field that associates to an account,  for some reason it is defaulting a client call view and not the active accounts view.

This is what shows up:

How do I set it to always use the Active Accounts view.

I am not sure about CRM 2011, you can check by going  to form editor and double click on lookup field see you can get this options or not.

You might go to customization-> Entity-> go to your entity expand it -> Forms-> Main Form ->

It open form editor then click on lookup field you will see that screenshot view as Goutham share.

Not sure what you mean, Go to lookup field properties?   I have never seen the screen you have pictured.  Also no one else would have added a custom view, as I am the only admin, and I did not add it.  This was working previously and nothing has changed in the system.  Thinking maybe trying a system restart.

    HI,

Go to lookup field properties and select the Default views which you want to display.

Also check in your code  may be  someone added custom view using  JavaScript  "addCustomView" method. You can comment out  JS code and then select views from lookup property.

    Hi,

If you are not passing defaultViewId in Url then pass it DefaultViewId(Guid of Active account) . But if you already pass that DefaultViewId then Check that ViewId you pass it might be Guid of DL -Client Service Guid .
