COGS report without using Value Entry table

Hi All

I'm building a PBI report for invoice level COGS. Using FIFO costing all value adjustments are reflected in Item Ledger entry Actual cost, and Expected cost flow fields which summarise value entry table related entries. Are there any transactions not reflelected in the item ledger entry that goes to value entry? I cannot find a reason to use use entry looking at the test data?

Thanks

Just to add to Inge's statement, all costs are reflected in the item ledger is because these costs come from the value entry table. Any custom work with inventory value, cost of sales, and sales should always come for the value entry table. The fields in the item ledger are flowfields which means you must add the entries from the value entry table!!!

No, all cost should be reflected in the item ledger entry as long as the calculation of the flow fields are calculated.

So as long as you make sure that the datasource you use in PBI is showing the calculated values of the flow fields, you should be all good.
