How do you document your custom services?

Good day D365 friends,

I have been building a few custom services in D365 for external applications to call and the developers who are building clients to consume my services would like some API documentation that describes the operations and their request and response contract objects. I’ve read some older blog posts about manually generating an OpenAPI/swagger specification. This looks doable but somewhat tedious. I wondered if any developers out there could share any of their experiences, tips, tricks, practices, tools, anything you are doing to describe a custom service endpoint to your consumers.

Any suggestion or documentation that you can post me to would be greatly appreciated!
