Hi,
If I have 3 Diff Projects for the same Customer, & Due to Some Client Requirements ; He needs the Invoicing for the 3 Projects to be Done thru ONE Invoice ,
Can I create ONE Project Invoice for 3 Project IDs if all of them Linked to One Customer ID ?
Regards
Mustafa
Hi Mustafa,
If all the three projects belong to the same project contract, you will be able to create a single invoice for all these projects. The contract Id will already be linked to the customer yo mentioned.
Gunjan is correct. When you create an invoice proposal, all projects (main and sub) belonging to a single project contract will be proposed for one invoice. When required, you can use filters to select what exactly needs to be placed on a single invoice (e.g. exclude projects or transactions).
When you have already projects you can change the project contract on an invoice if there are no transactions.
As Gunjan indicated, if all projects are assigned to the same project contract then navigate to the project contract and create an invoice proposal at the project contract level.
You can also do that from one of the project as long as they are related to the same project contract that needs to be selected in the project contract field.
If your projects are not linked through a single project contract then you won't be able doing that and the customer will receive 3 invoices.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Unfortunately, The Diff Projects were Linked with diff Contracts

I see.
In this case you have two options:
Option 1: Send your customer 3 invoices
Option 2: Decide with your project managers how to setup and link the different projects under one common project contract. Once you have decided that it might be best creating a new and fresh project with a new and fresh project. If you have that you can then make use of the adjustment functionality to bring your transactions to the newly setup project and can invoice your customer from there. Option 2 requires some additional work but in the long-term it might be the better option.
I don't see anyway you could create a single invoice for these projects in that case.
Hi Ludwig,
How can use the adjustment functionality to bring The transactions to the newly setup project ?
Best Regards
You simply select the old and 'wrong' project that has a different project contract assigned and identify the transactions that need to be moved to your other project.
Then select the adjustment function. Select the transaction type and when you say adjust you can specify the new and correct project to which you want to shift those transactions to.
Then post the adjustment and create the project invoice as usual from the new/correct projec.t
Here is a link to the MS docs sites that gives you more details:
