Was trying to crerate a filer in the excel add-in that references a value in an excel cell. Does anyone know how you could achieve this and what would be the syntax?

ie I have a customer value in cell c5 "CUST0001" and have given this cell a name reference "CUST" . Can I apply this filter in the excel addin to search a this customers y address by referencing the value of the cell and not by putting in the absolute value into the filter.

Hi Simon,

OOB filter has multiple way to use.

Or you can use * for matching, such as CUST*.

So you can’t put in a cell reference as a filter if I’m reading you correctly ?

Hi,

The excel has a feature to filter to the entire cell value, instead of specific value.
