Object reference error on creating a new queue or opening a queue for mailbox

Dear Dynamics Community,

I am quite a beginner in Dynamics 365. I need some help in order to fix a strange issue I am getting when I created a mailbox for handling a rule of creating a lead when someone emails to a specific user in Dynamics 365 Sales. What I did was:

1. Created a user and added it in my trial organizaiton for Dynamics 365 Sales (Trial Online)

2. Created a mailbox (Queue was created by default)

3. Added a creation rule for lead when email (I did this via Automatic Record Creation and Update Rules)

4. I saw that I can successfully login into outlook.office.com with my user (As I already applied license for Office 365 E3 to the user)

At first, I was able to get email and the rules were working fine and were creating lead records in CRM as expected. But after some time it stopped. When I tried to open the queue for mailbox it gives me an error:

Exception type: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault]

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I am also attaching the complete log file in the post for further details.

Does someone know or experienced this error before so it could be really helpful for me. Thanks

    Hi,

Here is an issue with the same error message which may help you:

(+) Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. - Microsoft Dynamics CRM Forum Community Forum

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Nya,

Thanks for responding. I also thought the same and that is why I created another fresh organization (trial) and added Office 365 E5 license to the Admin user and tried to open up the Queue from Settings --> Service Management --> Queues.

But, unfortunately I faced the same error there too.
