We just went live with Nav2009 in July, 2012 and we will be doing our physical inventory in December.
Some of our locations are bin controlled and direct put away and some are not bin controlled (these are public or consignment warehouse).
I am confused between the Physical Inventory Journal and the Warehouse Physical Inventory Journal.
For those locations that are bin controlled - do we use the warehouse physical inventory journal? Once we did all the adjustment and registered it - do we use the Physical Inventory Journal to post it to the item ledgers?
(Is this similar to the whse item journal and item journal relationship ?)
For those location that are not bin controlled or consignment - do we just use the Physical Inventory Journal to update our physical count?
