Hi,

I got the below error while posting trade agreement journal. I want to search it in lifecycle services.

I logged into lifecycle services but couldn't find Issue Search option.

Please guide me how to search for this error or help me if you already know how to solve this error.

You must use a Microsoft LiveID account that is linked against a Microsoft VOICE (either partner, or customer), with an active Dynamics AX subscription/license. After that you may create a new Project on LCS for the AX version you have listed, and can also use the Issue search.

Hi Lakshmi,

Vilmos is correct about first creating a project on LCS.

Related to your problem: Have you tried to run a new full CIL build? Are you aware of customizations which could also cause the issue?

remove the Checkbox:

Execute business operations in CIL: No.

If you did a customization, then the error is because you are using your select statement wrong, share you code.

Here is how the error is coming. There is no customization.

The trade agreement journal is validated. While validating the journal lines, the same system class is invoked and executed and there is no error.

When I click the post, this is where the error is coming.

When the same system code is able to validate the journal lines, why it has to throw an error while posting?

run it without the option:

If the process is working without the option, you can use this as a temporary solution, otherwise please create a CIL Full compile and see what other errors do you have, maybe is a services in the inbound services are not running correctly.

Hi,

There is no LCS solution. I did a full CIL compile and even after that the same error comes while posting the journal.

I unchecked the CIL option and the journal is getting posted . Any pointers why the error is coming when it is checked?

How to check if the inbound services are not running correctly?

I am getting the same error message. The two lines shown in the snapshot is explaining the real concern .

could some one explain me in detail what Int32exception value means?

Please post the entire .postJournal() method from class PriceDiscAdmCheckPost in the environment generating the error, so we can see what's going on.

It looks like some setup issue rather than code issue. To run CIL operations for posting journals, what all system setup is required?

its all standard AX base class code.
