How to get 365 F&O Hotfix changes to use in a 2012 AX Environment

I do not have access to a D365 environment, but I need hotfix changes that Microsoft released for D365 to add to our 2012 CU13 environment. Specifically, the hotfix I need is:

Issue 313161 - Resolved

Demand work inventory transactions become double the required quantity if linked replenishment work was closed (completed) during wave execution

Product and version: Finance and Operations

Release: 8.0

KB number: 4499032

I did attempt to download the update package and extract the code which I was able to do by unzipping the files a few times. However, its like hunting for a needle in a haystack not know what objects were changed...

LCS does not show the hotfix changes as it does for some other resolutions

D365 was a quite improve in hotfix management compared to Dynamics AX. No more code merge, and similar process, sometimes it was quite painful in AX

Since the upgrade process in D365 is automated, all required objects / binary are upgraded with a single package generation.

You could try to check modified objects between hotfixes in D365 in a Dev Box. But it isn’t a simple task. It can be also complex to backport code to AX, there were several refactored areas in D365.
