ZetaDocs: Failed to archive document

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by

I have just installed Zetadocs Express in NAV2013R2.

I installed the archive functionality in stead of the Sharepoint.

I finished the complete installation, but when I want to add a file (in my situation) to a sales order, I get the error message: Failed to archive document.

This message also appears when I want to send an email. (Save and Send from the Ribbon).

The Zetadocs archive folder is correct installed. When I stop the Zetadocs Service I get the message that the there is a problem connecting the folder.

I also have shared the folder with the right permissions.

What have I done wrong.

Could it be something with the SQL database.

I thank you in advance for your help.

Regards,

Ronnie Bennink

    Hi Ronnie,

    Please check the following:

    • The share folder is named correctly - the folder must be called “Zetadocs Archive” exactly, if there is no space in the name you will get an error.
    • Permissions are assigned correctly on the above share folder:
      • The account that the Zetadocs Archive service runs under must have FULL permissions.
      • The Zetadocs user needs READ access.
      • See section 2.2 of the guide for full details.
    • The service address is specified correctly on Zetadocs General Settings page. There is an ‘Open in browser’ button that you can use to test the service address on the Zetadocs General Settings page.

I hope this helps, please let me know.

    Kind regards,
