Nav 2016, Unable to provide access to Recurring General Journal page

Hello

I need to provide access to a user to the page Recurring General Journal (283)

1-I created a new permission set, I recorded with Nav the access to the page and provided access to the related tables

2-I reviewed the page variables to add permissions to the page, table and codeunits used as variables on the page

3-I reviewed the page code to see any other object used on the page and added their permissions on the set

4-I assigned the permissions set to the user.

Logged as the user, when I tried to search for the page on the top right corner of the client application the page's name does not show up.

I do not know in Nav how to get the missing permissions to see a page.

Thank you in advance for any support.

Not sure if it is available on NAV 2016,  there is a recording function in the Permission page on the Action tab.

Click start and go do the journal. (open the Recurring General Journal, create journals, post journals, etc)

Once you stop the recording, it will give you all the related permissions.

Thank for your answer but I used the recording tool to collect necessary permissions.

I followed your advice and recorded the actions again for the permissions set, after that the user associated to it closed the Nav client, reopened it again but still she did not have access to the page.

Is there any way to know what permission a user is missing in order to have permission to a page?

    Thank you for your support.

You can try "Add Read Permission to Related Tables" function in the Permissions page.

Technically speaking the recording should work.

There is no way to know what a permission is missing unless there is an error message.
