In all our Dynamics 365 Sales applications, Export to Excel function is throwing an error as in the below screenshots.  Export to Excel in all the views are having this issue from this morning.  There is no recent change in the system from our side,  could any update from Microsoft is causing this issue.  Anyone facing this issue or have a solution for this?  Thankyou

Good to know. Thanks for answering. Any idea where I can log a ticket?

North America is usually the last region to get fixes, but I would log a ticket to get the timeline directly from MS for your region.

    Hi Eric,

Any idea when they are planning the fix for the Western Europe region?

    Kind regards,

    Tessa

RE: Error in Export to Excel function in all the views

I opened a ticket on this error as well.

I checked with our Product team, and they confirmed this issue has been recognized centrally by them. A fix has been developed and as per the current deployment schedule, the fix is tentatively planned to start rolling out by the weekend of 3/5/2023 for the North America region.

The work item number is #3142834 for your reference.

The changes will be applied automatically to your environment after the respective build release. Since the release will happen based on the region level instead of Org level, we cannot make it sooner for any specific customer.

This is the official response I got from Microsoft on the issue:

    CASE SUMMARY:

    ISSUE DESCRIPTION :

      • Export to Excel function is not working in Dynamics 365

    CAUSE:

      • This is a known issue and the product team is working for a fix

    RESOLUTION :

      • The Fix will be deployed in 4th week of February tentatively.
      • Please find the work around mentioned below :

    METHOD 1:

    1. If you change the browser resolution to a different one & refresh your session, Then most likely user will be able to successfully Export to Excel.
    2. Try different browser zoom and OS resolutions such that width in network call has whole number.
    3. In some cases, it may never be a whole number. Then, try to Export from the old Advanced Find.

    METHOD 2:

    1. Turn OFF the new Advanced Find Feature in the Admin Center.
    2. After this the Filter icon on the Top bar will open old Advanced Find dialog
    3. Export works from here.
