Empty Tables

Hello guys

I have a question.

I updated from NAV 5 to NAV 2013 R2.

But then I got an error "The value of ROUND parameter 2 is outside of the permitted range" when I try to print a sales order.
I checked the table 98 General Ledger Setup and found that some of the fields does not contain the same value as in NAV 5! The same for the table 79 Company Information.

Do you have an idea how this could happen?

I followed the steps from here: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/nav/2013/11/22/upgrade-toolkit-for-upgrading-data-from-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2009-r2-and-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2009-sp1-to-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2013-r2/

Thanks!

Best regards

The problem was the company initializing (Codeunit 2) in every company. It deleted the entries in the tables.
I did not run codeunit 2 and now it works.

    Thanks.

Yes, Debug on the same session to pin point to the issue.

May be can you also cross check values in Currency table btwn Nav 5 and Nav 2013R2.

    Raphi,

Debug the code when you print the sales order, and paste the screenshot. I think it must be some setup issue.

primary key is only necessary, if there are more than 1 records.

how did you upgrade, how did you migrate the data ?

maybe a mismatch when importing the production data to nav 2013.

Well the company information table has no entry about the company itself. But the fields has the same Field No. and Field Name and are enabled.

Could it be a problem that the entry does not have a value in the field "Primary Key"?

    RE: Empty Tables

compare the fields between the tables in nav 5 and nav 2013 r2. search by field name, check if the field id differ. if yes, this coudl be a reason.
