    Hi opozo,

    What I got from your post is that your customer want's to use the available financial dimension combinations that you setup in AX and use them in another system/application to verify whether the transactions that are recorded there are correct. Is my understanding right?

    Hi Ludwig;
      Yes, you're right; they need to know all available combinations between 3 dimensions for Travel expenses management on external app (...)
    But they are not stored in DimensionAttributeValueCombination table because there are no records for this combinations yet, and they don't
    need the mainAccount. There are no restrictions for main account in Account Structure, but yes for the other 3 dimensions.
    I've arrived from DimensionHierarchy until DimensionConstraintNode table and I've the restrictions from - to , but I'm not able to retrieve all the
    values. I need something similar to the behavior of segmented entry control, to get the available values for these dimensions.
    Thanks for your fast reply.

    Regards.

    Hi opozo,

    I'm not sure whether this approach makes sense. Imagine something is changed with the account structures in AX, then you have to make sure that your external system that should follow the same accounting rules is in sync with those changes. I can't imagine how this should work with an Excel export of the AX account structures. Maybe you could explain a bit more about the planned integration between the different systems. I believe it would help to get valuable feedback from community members. Many thanks,

    Ludwig

    Hi ,

    i have a similar requirement where I need to get all the financial dimension combinations via  inbound services.  In my context, external systems will be in sync and follow the same accounting rules.

    I couldn't find any inbound service to retrieve those valid combinations :(

    Any help is appreciated
