Include attachment from different related email when sending out a notification on a case.

Posted on by 496

Scenario:

Customer sends in an email, with an attachment.  So, that would be the first attachment associated with the case (because the case is created from the email.)

What if we wanted to include that attachment on our notification to the assignee? Say we have a workflow that runs when someone is assigned to the record, with case details, and we want to include the attachment that was on the email that created the case.

Is there any situation in which this would be possible?

    Hi,

Could you help me, I am not able to setup incoming email in my CRM 2016 - On-Premises version 8.0.0.1088.

If we configure with Gmail account, the error message shows as 'Your mailbox crm admin didn't synchronize. Make sure that the credentials specified in your mailbox record are correct and have sufficient permission for receiving email'
