hi All,

when creating workflows, i activate the desired notifications to be sent to the concerned person.

For eg. In case there is an auto approval scenario, i want the notification to be sent to the head of the department that this workflow was created and now completed (no approval required)..

But, i am able to create and receive notifications only when the workflow requires an approval. Can someone help ?

How do you configure the workflow?

When the workflow is completed, the header of the department cannot be automatically identified based on the hierarchy. It can only be based on the following recipient type. Do you try it?

I have always used "workflow user" for notifications. are you saying that notifications should always be role based ?

Hi yadavA,

Notifications are not necessarily role-based, it depends on your requirement.

You want notification to be sent to the header of the department. Is this a specific header or the department header for different workflow submitter?

How do you configure this? Can you share a screenshot?

Hi,

I want notifications to be sent back to the Workflow originator .

For eg. if an employee submits the leave, it gets approve / reject ; employee should receive a notification
